Yorke Dance Project, sponsored by the Causeway Foundation, are performing on the new Spirit of ’71 stage at Glastonbury Festival 2011.
Celebrating 40 years of Glastonbury, the new work will celebrate the music and atmosphere of the ’71 festival and is scheduled for Thursday, Friday and Saturday:
Thursday 25th at 17:30
Friday 24th at 11:40, 17:40 and 21:35
Saturday 25th at 11.15
Artistic Director, Yolande Yorke-Edgell, comments:
“I have chosen four songs that were popular that year and show the different styles of music that to me depict the the spirit of 71… It’s going to be a varied, interesting and very entertaining 15 minutes and all of this has been made possible with the generous support of Causeway and Take Art Dance.”
