Causeway is London Wasps’ Main Sponsor!

We are delighted to have been appointed as Main Sponsor of London Wasps’ Main Academy Apprenticeship and Advanced Apprenticeship in Sporting Excellence (AASE) programmes.

“The funding Causeway provides is essential to the club developing the next generation of London Wasps players.” – Steve Hayes, owner of London Wasps

During the 2011-2012 and 2012-2013 seasons, we will be working in partnership with Wasps on a number of initiatives to support young people within their catchment area. These include the creation of a new ‘emerging schools player development programme’ and greater involvement of London Wasps in the work of the Causeway Foundation.

We are also excited that London Wasps’ strength and conditioning staff will be creating a ‘wellbeing’ programme for the Causeway staff, covering nutrition, training methods, injury prevention and ‘wellness in the workplace’.

Causeway CEO Phil Brown commented:

“This agreement builds on a strong and well-established relationship between our organisations. As such, it enables us to leverage our combined strengths in extending our existing programmes, providing even more opportunities for young people.”

Steve Hayes, owner of London Wasps, added:

“Causeway are long standing sponsors of London Wasps. However, they are more than a sponsor; they are partners who work with us to develop and support the Youth Elite Player scheme.”
