RICS Middle East Event – CPD on BIM


Register now for the RICS event ‘CPD on BIM’ which is being held at the API Tower in Dubai on the 9th October 2012 from 6.30pm to 9.00pm.

The agenda for the evening includes:

 

An overview of the BIM landscape in the UK and the impact of BIM regionally in the Middle East.

- Using BIM data for takeoff, creation of cost plans and BoQs.
- Design changes can be quickly reflected in the schedule and quantity take-off when linked to BIM data.
- Better accuracy for cost planning is possible if BIM is implemented early on a project.

Presenter: David Hughes, Davis Langdon
David leads Davis Langdon cost managment services on a number of key projects in the Middle East region, and will explain some of the practical issues and challenges that currently exist using BIM data on projects. David is also taking a lead for AECOM in the Middle East in developing standards for their business regarding the use of BIM data.
