Companies Cut Costs in Half with Tradex!

Causeway’s electronic trading hub, Tradex, removes the need to print, handle and rekey trading documents, such as invoices, purchase orders and delivery notes. It is now being used by many of the Top 100 contractors to eliminate paper from the procurement process.

The Tradex community consists of the industry’s largest suppliers, such as Aggregate Industries, A-Plant, Cemex, GAP Group, Hanson, HSS Hire, Jewson, Lafarge, Saint Gobain, SIG, Speedy Hire, Tarmac, Travis Perkins, VP, Wolseley and WT Burdens. By using Tradex, contractors can connect with these suppliers and, within days, convert the majority of their paper invoices to electronic transactions.

Contractors including AMEC, Amey, BAM Nuttall, Bardon, Barhale, Carillion, McNicholas Construction, Morgan Sindall, RJ McLeod, Seddon Group, Sir Robert McAlpine and Wilmott Dixon have all selected Tradex. With customers claiming to have halved both the costs and time of handling invoices, it’s no surprise!

These savings are not exclusive to the Top 100 contractors, however, as customers of our Jobmaster and Connect finance systems also use Tradex to connect to their suppliers. Financial Director and Jobmaster user RJ McLeod, Martin Judd, comments:

“Tradex has eliminated the physical handling of paper invoices, reducing the need to rekey data into Jobmaster. The benefits are clear as we have reduced errors and can process more invoices in a shorter timeframe.”
